Noreen Kay Polton

Noreen Kay Polton (Lofthus), 67, passed away on December 6. 2025. In Bagley, Minnesota.
Born on October 13, 1958, in Fosston Minnesota, Noreen was the daughter of Thelman and Irene Lofthus. She grew up surrounded by values of family and resilience that guide her throughout her life. Noreen was a devoted mother whose love knew no bounds. Her children, Jeremiah Klema and Michelle Conner, were the center of her world. She gave them what can only be described as the most unconditional love a mother could give-a legacy of warmth and unwavering support that will live on through them. Noreen worked multiple positions from cashier to customer service to Auto Center at Walmart for 12 years. She enjoyed reading lots and lots of books as well as doing her word search books.
She found immense joy in being a grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren: Brook Klema, Jaydon Klema, and Chloe Conner. Her presence in their lives was a source of comfort and joy, and her memory will continue to their lives in meaningful ways.
Noreen is also remembered by her siblings: Erling Lofthus (Valerie), sister Arylce Dobson, and sister Valerie Sorenson (Randy). Their shared memories and enduring bond are a testament to the strength of family ties.
Though she has left this world way too soon, Noreen's spirit remains deeply rooted in the hearts of those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to all who mourn her passing.
