Norma Jean Walls Alsup, age 83, of Matthews, died Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.

Born October 4, 1941, at Cleveland, Arkansas, to the late Orville Clint Walls and Ester Stella Rhoades Walls, she had lived in Sikeston and Matthews most of her life. She was employed with Lambert's Café for over 25 years and was a member of the Old Bethel Baptist Church near Sikeston.

She was married to Glen Dale Alsup on June 21, 1958. at Hernando, MS, and he preceded her in death on January 31, 1986.

Surviving are her sons, Rick (Charlene) Alsup of Matthews, MO and Randy (Svetlana) Alsup of Seattle, WA; her grandchildren, Heather Alsup Winston, Lindsey Alsup (Ryan) Jarrett, Lacey Alsup (Jordan) Ellsworth, Cole (Emily) Alsup, Josh (Blair) Alsup; great grandchildren, Amery Winston, Jace Winston, Josie Kate Alsup, Ruby James Alsup, Augustus (Gus) Maldon Alsup, Kai Ellsworth, Lainey-Gray Ellsworth, Aiden Jarrett, Liam Alsup, Emmitt Eckhoff, Maverick Manley-Alsup, Adelynn Alsup and Anastasia Eckhoff; her brothers, Claudie Walls and Jimmie Dean Peachee; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Wanda Jean Vann, Cuma Hale, Linzy Walls and Doyle Walls.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Brent Horton, pastor of Old Bethel Baptist Church near Sikeston will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
