Norma J. Bradow, 83, of Fergus Falls, MN passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, in the care of HIA Hospice Care, in Fargo, ND following a hospital stay.
Norma was born on June 19, 1942, in Western Township, Minnesota, the daughter of Clarence and Frieda (Hensch) Miller. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Western Township. Norma began working at the Ottertail Power District office before graduating from Morris Ag School in 1960. Morris Ag School is where she forged many lifelong friendships that remain to this day!
Norma married her high school sweetheart, Gary Bradow May 12, 1962, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls, MN. They farmed in Orwell Township, Ottertail County. Gary and Norma were a great farming team for 36 years. They were blessed with three daughters. Norma was a devoted wife and mother who loved gardening and she was greatly fulfilled in being a loyal farm wife and homemaker. On rare occasions, she even managed to convince Gary to take a few trips, creating treasured memories filled with laughter and joy.
She was bold in her faith and had a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was actively involved in many Trinity Lutheran Church activities and volunteered with numerous organizations, including the Orwell 4-H Club, Hospice, and the Pioneer Auxiliary. After suffering a stroke in 1991, Norma founded the local Stroke Support Group in 1996, which continues to support others today. Through her generosity, courage, strength, kindness, and quick wit, she was a good steward of her time and talents and led by example. She was always up for a good game of cards or Mahjong with family and friends.
Preceding her in death was her husband Gary Bradow 1998, her parents Clarence and Frieda Miller, parent in-laws William and Emma Bradow, her sister Diane Knopf, brother-in-law Milo Smith, sister-in-law Sidonna Bradow and son-in-law Curt Danielson.
Norma is survived by her daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren and 2 new great grandchildren.
