Norma "Jeanie" Coleman, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on March 12, 1951, in Cadet, Missouri to Nicholas and Alice (Bourisaw) Thebeau. Norma’s life was marked by her unwavering love for her family, her deep faith, and her vibrant presence in the lives of those around her.

Deeply family-oriented, Norma cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, taking immense pride in her two sons, Kenneth and James "Jimmy" Coleman. She embraced her grandchildren, Jamie Coleman, Kaitlyn Coleman and fiancé Nathan, Courtney Nigro and fiancé Justin Trokey, Lindsey Wilson and husband Dylan, and Kyle Coleman, showering them with affection and guidance. Norma also delighted in her role as a great-grandmother to Kaedann Trokey, Korbynn Trokey, Emberlynn Wilson, Amelia Trokey, Bailen Wilson, and Ava-Rose Trokey, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to influence her family for generations to come. Norma is also survived by her dear sisters-in-law, Rita Thebeau and Ann Thebeau.

Norma found joy in many simple pleasures, including quilting and watching her favorite television shows, such as "The Price is Right," "Little House on the Prairie," and "Heartland." She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, cards and had a fondness for plain potato chips and anything butterscotch. Moreover, she loved to sing old church hymns and shared a special bond with her dog, Lady.

A faithful member of St. James Catholic Church, Norma lived her life with a profound sense of faith and devotion, cherishing her relationship with Jesus. Her warmth and welcoming spirit allowed her to connect deeply with others, making her a cherished friend in her community.

Norma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vincent Coleman. She was united in marriage to Vincent on December 31, 1971, and they lovingly shared over 50 years together. Norma was also preceded in death by her parents, Alice (Bourisaw) Thebeau, Nicholas Thebeau, brothers, Paul Thebeau, Russell Thebeau, James Thebeau, Bernard Thebeau, sister, Mildred Bourisaw, sister-in-law, Betty Thebeau, brother-in-law, Paul Bourisaw, granddaughter, Bailey Coleman and great-grandson, Karsynn "K.J." Trokey.

Norma leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and joy. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends as they remember the beautiful moments shared with her throughout her life.
