Norma moved to Iberia at the age of thirteen where she quickly met the love of her life, Floyd Dake. They were later married and began their life together. Together they shared sixty-years and one day. She spent most of her life as a devoted pastor's wife and homemaker to her family. Together, Norma and Floyd spent fifty-three years in the ministry with thirty-four of those years at the Living Word Pentecostal Church of God.

Norma devoted her life to doing the Lord's work. Throughout her time in the ministry, she lead Women's Ministry, Youth Ministry, being a janitor (ha), a teacher of nearly every class at the church, pianist and worship leader. But most importantly, she lovingly raised her three children to continue the ministry and today, her family is very active in sharing the word of the Lord through the word and music.

Norma was a skilled quilter, but was most famous for her homemade pies. She cherished her family and loved to listen to them sing. She loved her church dearly and never missed an opportunity to teach God's word. Her family was very important to her, especially her children and grandchildren.

Norma was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, sister and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.
