Norma Amelia (Fox) Lively, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away November 16th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 12, 1937, in Southport, Norma dedicated her life to creating a loving and nurturing home for her husband of 67 years and three children.
An unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ guided her life. Norma exhibited her devotion by volunteering in numerous civic organizations including various groups at Southport Presbyterian Church, committees for Perry Township schools, Indianapolis Symphony Association south group and the Southside Christian Women's Club. Her home was always open and served as a gathering place for family and friends.
Norma is survived by her beloved husband, F. Robert Lively; predeceased by son Chris (Kathleen) Lively, survived by son Brian Lively and daughter Kimberly (Thomas) Gunderman; and her cherished grandchildren, Meghan (Andrew) Fasseas, Peter (Kristi) Lively, Matthew (Morgan) Lively, Andrew (Francesca) Lively, Seth (Jana) Gunderman, Erin Lively, Patricia (Colin) Gloudemans, Luke (Allison) Gunderman, Joel (Tessa) Gunderman; great-grandchildren, Katherine Fasseas, Alexandra Fasseas, Olivia Fasseas, Brooke Gunderman, Nora Lively, Everett Gunderman, Peter Fasseas, Savannah Gunderman, Charlie Gloudemans, Quinn Lively, Michael Lively; survived by her brother Richard Fox and sisters Carolyn Carroll and Ann Osborne. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and eleven great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Frances Fox, and sister, Helen Daley.
Inurnment at Washington Park East Cemetery will take place Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00am.
