Norma Eloise Hauser

Norma Eloise Hauser, 82, of Cumberland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 6, 2026 surrounded by her family.

Born July 21, 1943, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Edward Walter and Letta (Flanagan) Lancaster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hauser; brothers, Edward L. Lancaster, Paul C. Lancaster, and Otis B. Lancaster; and her sisters, Viola Lancaster, and Bettie Jean Bloomfield.

Norma was 1961 graduate of Bruce High School. She was employed at Dillard's Department Store in Greenville, South Carolina for over 20 years. She relocated back to Cumberland in 2015. Norma enjoyed reading her bible, playing the piano, doing word search puzzles, and loved decorating for Christmas,

While in South Carolina, she attended Trinity Baptist Church in Pelzer. She is a member of Allegany Baptist Church in McCoole, Maryland.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Twigg (Dave); son, George Wilson (Frances); grandchildren, Alex, John, Amanda, and Sarah; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Rev. Jack Lancaster, Rev. John Lancaster, Rev. Walter Lancaster (Virginia), Rev. Joseph Lancaster (Lois), and Stephen Lancaster(Sharon); sisters, Mary Jane Wilson, Rozella Fraley (Ronald), and Dorothy Dawson (David); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Allegany Baptist Temple, 21911 Westernport Road SW, Keyser, WV 26726 on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will be immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Walter Lancaster officiating.

Interment will be in Waxler Cemetery.
