Norma C. Herrick

Norma Cundaro Herrick, age 93, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, June 16, 2023.
She was born in Johnstown on November 10, 1929, a daughter of the late Pietro and Jennie Siligato Cundaro.
Mrs. Herrick was a 1947 graduate of Johnstown High School. She was employed as a receptionist at the former Superb Glove Company of Johnstown and retired from the Johnstown Knitting Mill in 1992. Norma was of the Catholic faith and a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church, and current Holy Trinity Church.
Norma was united in marriage to William W. Herrick on June 19, 1949; he passed away on October 6, 2016. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Nina L. Lathers and Jennie Cundaro Ketchum.
Norma loved to walk all over Johnstown with her late husband Bill up until their later years, always warmly greeted all with her joyful smile, and was an avid reader and patron of the local library.
Survivors include two nieces Jaynelle Ketchum of Johnstown and Judy (Mitch) Schwartz of Myrtle Beach, SC; one nephew Jim (Pam) Lathers of Punta Gorda, FL; and several great and great-grand nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
Private entombment will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown, at the convenience of the family.
Contributions in Norma's memory may be made to the Johnstown Public Library.
