Norma Jean "Memaw" Howard

Norma Jean Howard was born March 12, 1948, to Frank and Bessie Fitzgerald Sr. in Granger, Texas. She attended Grander Public Schools in Granger, Texas. She married Robert Howard on July 17, 1992. She was a member of Bethel Independent Methodist Church, Temple, Texas, serving as an Usher. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Southland Villa Nursing Home, Temple, Texas; and in Food Service for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Temple, Texas, until retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Doris Hollway; four sisters, Annie White, Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Eliza Murray, and Nottie Tate; and two great-grandsons, Devin Johnson and Mellow Capell.
Survivors are three daughters, Betty Holloway and Helen Gilmore and Dametrice Holloway Austin all of Temple, Texas; one brother, Frank Fitzgerald Jr. of Elgin, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
