Norma Iman Obituary
A lifetime resident of Evans City, she had recently been residing at the Lutheran SeniorLife residences in Zelienople. Norma married the love of her life, Leland Iman, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City on Dec. 11, 1945. After more than 73 years of marriage, she was preceded in death by Leland in 2019.
Norma's life was filled with love and devotion to her family and community. She and Leland enjoyed many winters together in Florida, where they made lasting memories. She was an active member of her church, and she found joy in social activities, such as playing cards and dominoes in a local card club.
Norma was a tireless supporter of her grandchildren, present at their sporting games and dance recitals, as well as sending care packages to their summer camps and universities. Her family meant everything to her, and she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City, Norma also was an active member of the Evans City Bethlehem Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by children, Jeffrey (Diane) Iman, Janice (Fred) Haas and Linda (Dave) Ferianc; grandchildren, Tim (Danielle), Amanda (Mike) Swartz, Sarah (Steve) Halvonik, Fred (Natalie) Haas and Leah (Kirk) Brown; and great-grandchildren, Stevie Halvonik, Sullivan Halvonik, Beatrice Haas, Levi Haas and William Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aven and Blanche Caldwell; sisters, Jean Caldwell, Vera (Clyde) Rengers and Cleo (Frank) Yahn; brother, Aven Caldwell; and son-in-law, Dave Ferianc.
IMAN - A memorial service for Norma C. Iman, who died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norma's honor to Crop and Kettle, https://secure.givelively.org/donate/crop-and-kettle.
