Norma Jean Ivory

Norma Jean Ivory, 94 of Verona PA passed peacefully on Tuesday March 3, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Jenibe and Frederick Clawson. Beloved wife of 69 years to the late Harry F. Ivory who preceded Norma in passing in 2017. Mother to Cheryl Lee Beebe (Bill) of Monroeville, Barbara Ann Ressler (Robert) of Ormond Beach, FL, Robert F. Ivory of Springfield, OH, and Edna Jean Shelstad (Oscar) of Butler. Loving grandmother to Drew Allen Crawford (Kristen), Shelley Lynn Ressler, Shiffara Dawn Steadman (Blaise), Bobbi Lee Gent, Brandi Lynn, William Shelstad (Valerie), and Shalynn Ivory. Great-grandmother to Nicholas Crawford, Zenon, and Kaia Steadman. Preceded in death by her siblings David and Paul Clawson.

Norma Jean was a secretary at Point Breeze Church in East Liberty for many years. She also worked at Ruby Cleaners as an accountant for payroll and retiring from there.

She sang with the "Sweet Adelines" and music and dancing were her and Harry's passions.

Friends and family will be received on Friday March 6, 2026 from 9 a.m until 1p.m. with a service starting at 12:30 at at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139.

Interment to follow next to Harry at Mt. Royal Cemetery.
