It is with great sadness we announce: Norma J. Jessup, age 98, passed away peacefully, on February 3, 2025 at St. Paul Elder Services, Nursing Home, with her family by her side. Norma was born on February 19, 1926 in Brazil, Indiana and raised in Indianapolis. Daughter of Margaret and Oliver Renfro. One of 6 children, Norma always loved classic style, creativity, flowers, art and Mother Nature. She had a natural talent for all things creative and did everything with extra flair. She was full of life, right up until the end and would continually tell her wonderful care team she loved them. All the while still being as feisty as ever. Norma, married the love of her life, Eugene B. Jessup, on January 13, 1952 in Jefferson, Indiana and spent the next 72 years together in business and in love.Norma loved retail and owned two beautiful shops in Door County. She transformed the town of Fish Creek into a wonderland of style, beauty and class. From floral design to dressing up a window, to her own fine art, she could do it all. Most of all she was an amazing wife and mother.
Norma is survived by her three boys, Jay(Kathy), Curt(Alison) and Rob(Angel) and her beloved grand daughters Johanna and Natalie. She is also survived by her beloved brother in law Tommy Chastain. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Paul Elder Services for their un-wavering love, compassion and top level care. Especially Ashley, Barb, Angela, Dariya and Lindsey.
A private celebration will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution in Norma’s name to St Paul Elder Services.
