Norma Jean Johnson, 89, of Rock, WV, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at her home with family.
Born on November 2, 1935 in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late James and Sylvia Overton McKenzie. She had been a resident of Windmill Gap for 65 years, was a homemaker, and was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Johnson; a sister, Linda Ross and a brother, Jim McKenzie.
Survivors include her son, Cody (Shelia) Johnson of Windmill Gap; Granddaughters, Jessica (Zach) Duke and Sheena Johnson (Crystal Hambrick); Great Grandsons, Chase Mounts, Peyton Mounts, and Andrew Duke; many nieces,nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may call prior to services, from 12:00-1:00PM, at the funeral home.
