Norma Lefler Obituary
Norma Dare Lefler, age 83, of Springfield, Va. and formerly a long-time resident of Woodbridge, Va. died November 23.
Mrs. Lefler was born on June 7, 1925 in Welch, Va. to the late Oakey E. and Helen M. Nolley.
Mrs. Lefler proudly served in the WAC as driver for General Eisenhower's personal phy-sician during World War II. She was a proud and loving Navy wife to the late Master Chief Petty Officer Carl J. Lefler. She was Mom to Rita Dare, Carl, Jr. (Jack), and Frank (Skip), and Nana to Colleen, Larissa, Brandy, Matthew, and Frank, Jr., and Great Nana Dare to nine beautiful great-grand- children, all of whom survive her.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 30 at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 2 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be given in the name of Norma Dare Lefler to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, 4101 Eisenhower Ave., Alexandria VA 22304. Arrangements by
