Norma Jean Lorenz

Norma Jean Lorenz, born on October 9, 1951, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, in Van Buren Township, Michigan. She was 73 years old.
Norma was a dedicated employee of Ford Motor Company, where she worked diligently throughout her career. Her strong work ethic and commitment were evident to all who knew her.
In her personal life, Norma had a deep love for the outdoors and was particularly fond of fishing and hunting. Her passion for nature extended to her beloved dogs and frogs, which brought her endless joy and companionship.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Lorenz, and her parents, Germ Lee Suttles and Jacqueline Suttles.
Norma's memory will be cherished by her daughters, April (Gregory) Fountain and Catherine Zupancic. She leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Garrett, Melissa, and Jacquelynn, as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Savannah and Evelyn. Norma is also survived by her brothers, Donnie Lee Suttles and Aris Wayne Suttles, along with many friends who will miss her dearly.
Her legacy of love, laughter, and an appreciation for the simple joys in life will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
