Norma Lupe, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on September 5, 1948, in Cibecue, Arizona, to the late Dewey Lupe, Sr. and Rose Nagle Lupe.

Norma was one of nine siblings, growing up in a family rooted in faith and tradition. She dedicated over 40 years of her life working for the White Mountain Apache Tribe at the Cibecue Commercial Center, where she became known not only as a hardworking businesswoman, but also as a mentor and leader within her community.

A lifetime member of the Cibecue Miracle Church, Norma loved her faith every day. She cherished camping trips with her family and was deeply devoted to attending Revival Church Services. Her unwavering relationship with Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life and the source of her strength.

Norma will be remembered as a matriarchal leader, a woman of many talents and skills, and a true pillar of strength and faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service, remembered by all who were blessed to know her. She was humble, strong, and loving, yet also determined and wise- a true warrior of faith.

Norma is survived by her children, Dion Lawson and Logan Lawson, Jr.; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings and extended family who will forever treasure her memory. She was preceded in death by her three sons: Leon Lawson Sr., Neon Logan Lawson, and Dominique Van Lawson.

A wake will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. at her residence, 10 N. Electric Dr. Cibecue, Arizona. Funeral service will follow on Thursday, September 18, 2025 @ 10:00 A.M. at the Cibecue Miracle Church, with burial to take place at the Lupe family plot.

Norma's family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace, rejoicing in Heaven, and continues to live on through the faith and love she instilled in those around her.
