On Thursday, September 4, 2025, the angels of the Lord welcomed Norma McLean into her eternal home.
Cherishing her memory are her three daughters: Lela Smith of Carson, CA, Lola Herron of Inglewood, CA and Aza Ferguson of Ville Platte, LA; one son: Timothy McLean of Dallas, TX; four brothers: Robert Tolbert of Abbeville, LA, Lionel Tolbert of San Marquis, TX, Felton Tolbert of Lafayette, LA and Hilton Tolbert of Houston, TX; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Solomon and Lela Tolbert; two sisters: Barbara Ann Staggers and Joyce Latigue; two brothers: Michael and Timothy Tolbert; and her grandparents: Huey Lee and Silas Tolbert.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
