Born on May 23, 1935, in Thomaston, Georgia, she beautifully embraced life as a devoted homemaker, nurturing her family and creating a warm home filled with love.

As a member of the Baptist Faith, Norma lived her life with compassion and kindness, touching the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She had a deep love for her family and found joy in cooking, reading, traveling and appreciating the beauty of flowers. Her adventurous spirit was evident in her enjoyment of riding Jeeps in the mountains, where she created lasting memories with those she cherished. She loved bird watching, especially hummingbirds, traveling, fishing and spending time at the beach.

Norma will be lovingly remembered by her sons, David (Ann) Mullis, Merrill (Debra) Mullis, Leslie Mullis, and Garrett (Janice) Mullis; her daughter, Denice (Mac) McDaniel; her brother, Jimmy (Harriett) Garrett; and her sister, Patsy Hunt. Norma's legacy lives on through her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her love and memory in their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Merrill Mullis, Sr., who she dearly loved and missed.
