Norma Pine Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home - Warrensburg on Dec. 23, 2025.
Norma Jean Pine, a beloved wife, step-mom, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 20,2025. She was a woman of deep faith who loved Jesus with her whole heart and lived her life as a reflection of His grace, kindness, and compassion.

Born in Amoret, Mo on October 3, 1944 she had a long, joyful life and spent 46 years married to her husband Larry Pine.

Her faith guided everything she did. She found comfort and strength in prayer and Scripture, and she shared God's love through her words and actions. She volunteered at her church often and would spend her mornings in the word of God.

She also found great joy in fishing, specifically flyrod fishing. She would spend most summers either going on fishing trips or at the lake fishing with her husband and granddaughter.

Norma leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. While she will be deeply missed, we rejoice in the promise that she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.

She is survived by her husband Larry Pine, step children Linda Cass (and husband Bobby) and Danny Pine; and granddaughter Karacin Lane (and husband Lathan, and son Atlas). She joins her parents, and siblings in heaven.

A graveside service will be held in Lee's Summit, Mo on Monday, December 29th at 2pm at Lee's Summit Historical Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you honor her memory by spending time with loved ones, sharing kindness, or enjoying God's creation, and going on a fishing trip when the weather is warmer.
