Norma Jean Warren-Robinson, 77, of Sabattus Maine passed away on February 22, 2016 at the Hospice House in Auburn with her family by her side.
She was born in Calais, Maine on September 26, 1938 to parents Dexter and Pauline (Bassett) Warren.
She was in junior and senior choir at the Congregational Church in Calais and also helped out in Sunday School. She was department manager at W.T. Grants in Calais from 1956 to 1958.
Norma married Frederic James Robinson on June 22, 1958 and in June of 2008 they celebrated their 50 anniversary.
She had two sons, Ricky James and Robert Gene, and an adopted daughter, Nancy Leeman. She had 7 grandchildren Jamie Marie Robinson, Christopher Gene Robinson, Justin Cory Robinson, Brian Luke Leeman, Andrew Michael Leeman, Heather Lynn Barrett, and Shannon Rennae Barrett. She also has a half-brother, Alfred and a great grandson, Elijah Robinson.
She was a long time member of First Assembly of God in Lewiston. She taught Missionettes for two years, and was part of the nursing home ministries for two years.
Norma was predeceased by her parents.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at First Assembly of God, 70 Hogan Rd, Lewiston, Maine. A memorial gathering will take place from noon to 1pm, with the memorial service to follow immediately afterwards.
