Norma G. Sais, 59, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, in Odessa, Texas.
She was born on September 29, 1965, in Monahans, Texas, to Ricardo Sais and Maria del Rosario Garcia.
Norma had a warm and caring spirit. Though she never had children of her own, she loved her fur babies deeply—especially her beloved Ginger. She also shared a close bond with her nieces and nephews, and she held a special place in her heart for her great-niece, Amaya.
Norma worked as a cook for much of her life, with her longest tenure at K-Bob’s Steakhouse. She was also a talented baker, known for her delicious treats and her love for sharing them with family and friends.
She found joy in the outdoors and took pride in working on her yard. A true fan of the culinary arts, Norma could often be found watching the Cooking Channel, always with a Coca-Cola in hand.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ricardo Sais and brother, Richard Sais.
She is survived by her mother, Maria del Rosario Sais; survived by sister, Joann Subia and her nephew, Joe Anthony Subia and niece, Jovan Fernandez; her sister, Belissa Valles and husband, Roger Valles; her brothers, David Sais and wife, Alicia Sais, Oscar Sais, and Joe Sais; her nephews, Chris and Joe Julian Sais and niece, Joquel Ornelas; and extended family and friends.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Harkey Funeral Home, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 25, 2025, at St. John the Apostle and Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Joe Anthony Subia, Jovan Fernandez, Juan Rivas, Issac Sanchez, Joe Julian Sais, and Chris Sais.
