Obituary published on Legacy.com by Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home - Allen on Feb. 5, 2026.
Norma Jean Trout of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 85. Norma was born on December 12, 1940, to William Ross Beard and Helen Marie (Hartsborn) Beard in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

On October 26, 1957, Norma married the late John Trout in Gainesville, Texas. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with warmth and cherished moments until John's passing in 1995. Norma was the heart of her family, dedicating herself to their care and happiness. A woman of grace, strength and kindness, she taught her family the value of independence, humor and compassion. Her devotion as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend will always be remembered by those fortunate enough to call her theirs.

Norma was a proud member of Waddill Street Baptist Church in McKinney, where she found community and purpose. Her gentle spirit and kind heart touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will never be forgotten.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Janet Wisdom of McKinney, Texas and Donna Mann and husband, Kevin, also of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Alex Mann and wife, Katelynn of McKinney, Texas, Austin Mann and wife, Kelli of Frisco, Texas and Ross Wisdom and wife, Maddi of Gunter, Texas; great-grandchildren, Parker Mann, Decker Mann, Ronnie and Hays Wisdom; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Beard, her husband John Trout; and son-in-law, Ronny Wisdom.

A special thank you to Kim Kunkle and Angelica Care Home along with her caregivers for their exceptional loving care and comfort.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
