Funeral services for Norma Wohl will be conducted Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from the Martin Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sean Estes officiating. Interment will follow in the Rhea Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Norma Mae Wohl was born April 21, 1943 at Leedey, OK to Loren and Doris (Jones) Stevens and passed away at her home on October 27, 2012 at the age of 69 after a long bout with cancer and complications due to Diverticulitis. She attended Leedey Grade School and Butler High School. Norma was married to William Boyd Weckerly on October 10, 1959; her first husband who died on August 15, 1965, while stationed in Goose Bay, Labrador. She was remarried to John Louis Wohl on June 10, 1977. Norma enjoyed reading, fishing, watching football, playing slot machines, and spending time with her family. Norma is preceded in death by her parents Loren Stevens of Leedey, OK and Arthur Witherspoon (Stepfather) and Doris Witherspoon; her brothers, Jimmy Stevens and Danny Stevens. Norma is survived by her husband John; brothers: Loren Stevens Jr. and Tommy Stevens; Sisters: Vera Hassell, Lynnette Lockwood, Edna McLaughlin, and Betty Stevens; sons, Dale Weckerly of Ardmore, OK, Raymond Weckerly of Butler, OK, and Lonny Weckerly of Allen, TX. Step son, John Wohl Jr. of Butler, OK: Step Daughters, Violet Edwards of Owasso, OK and Peggy Dominquez of near Hannibal, MO; grandchildren, Kristina Duff of Arapaho, Jana Weckerly of Ardmore, Teya Weckerly of Allen, TX, Sally Wohl of Butler, Kraig Edwards of Owasso, Mary Edwards of Tulsa, Teather Edwards of Wasso, DJ Garza of Owasso, John Garza of Tulsa, Sammy Dominguez of Elk City, Amber Cunningham of Texas, Lloyd Cunningham of Texas, and many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The American Cancer Society. The family of Norma Wohl wishes to thank the Family Choice Home Care for their assistance and support. Condolences to the family may be sent to 9590 N. 2105 Rd. in Butler, OK 73625.
