Norma Wyrick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Peavy Funeral Home from Mar. 14 to Mar. 15, 2026.
Norma Deanne Morgan Wyrick peacefully passed away Tuesday March 10, 2026, at her home with family. Deanne was born in Bakersville, California, May 25, 1937, but considered Arizona home. Her father was Bucklyn Morgan (aka: Kinsley Merle) and her mother was Anna Bell Coots. Bucklyn was an honest-to-goodness cowboy, so Deanne, her sister Kay, and brother Monte spent much of their formative years on cattle ranches in New Mexico and Arizona. After high school Deanne earned a degree from the University of Arizona and a master's degree in business finance from San Jose State college. She then joined the Army Special Forces and was shipped off to Furth Germany where she met and married Jerry A. Wyrick of Miccosukee Florida. They had two children, Jerry Allen "Rusty" and Edward Daniel. Deanne was an avid reader and organist, which led to her becoming a librarian and social worker in Florida and Arizona. Deanne is survived by her brothers Monte, Mike, Tim and sister Debbie. Her sons Jerry Allen "Rusty" Wyrick, his partner Pepper, and Edward Daniel Wyrick, his wife Kelly. Three grandchildren Anthony (Megan), Wyrick, Michael, and Karen (James) Lee. One great grandchild with two coming soon. Many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
