Norman Bourget Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Methuen Family Funeral Home on Sep. 15, 2025.
Norman A. Bourget, 82, of Dracut, MA, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Bear Mountain in Andover, MA, comforted by the love of his family, after a battle with aggressive lung cancer. Born in Lawrence, MA, he is the son of the late Normand and Constance (St. Laurent) Bourget. Norman loved life and his family, and his large extended family more than anything else. He was hard working, self-employed, and dedicated to his customers of NAB systems, even working into the last weeks of his illness. Norman loved camping trips with family, supporting the scouts, watching his son do BMX, and his daughter's dance. Norman was known as "Mr Fix it", if someone needed help, he was there in a minute to lend a hand or offer advice. He was forever working on projects around the house, even doing his own oil changes under his car at 82. Norman was very proud of his grandchildren, and once he mastered the smart phone, was quick to show pictures of them to anyone he was chatting with. Norman will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his cherished wife of sixty years, Norina (Brodie) Bourget, of Dracut, MA, daughter, Christina Collins and her husband, Christopher of Dracut, son, Jonathan Bourget of Dracut, daughter, Jennifer Cloutier and her husband, Scott of John's Creek, GA, brother, Leonard Bourget and his wife, Marcia of Springfield, VA, grandchildren, Dillon Collins, Nicholas and Gracie Bourget, Zachary and Hunter Cloutier, as well as his brother and sister- in -laws Jocelyn and Ray Cox, Patricia Brodie, Dennis and Debra Brodie, Terence Brodie, Kevin Brodie, Shaun and Sally Brodie, and Patrick Brodie, and very many cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 19, at 10:00 AM, at St. Francis of Assisi, 115 Wheeler Road, Dracut. Burial to follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, 2 Locust Grove Road, Merrimac, MA. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bourget family.
