Norman Christensen, 85, of Vadnais Heights, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026. Norman was the eldest of 15 children, he was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Odelia; and brother, John. He is survived by his siblings, Roy Sr., Barbara Schiller, James, David, Edward, Wallace, Marlene Hanson, Cheryl Tew, Linda Hince, Jean Anderson, Michael, Mary Kay, and Alan; plus, many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Norm was an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion in White Bear Lake. He worked for 32 years at Silgan Containers (American Can) and retired in 1999. Norm was a solitary spirit who loved the outdoors and found solace in nature. He enjoyed the annual deer camp near Hill City, and family reunion fishing trip. Norm was the quiet joy of the family and a beloved brother.
A celebration of life is being planned for Norm. Interment to take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
