Norman Christian Obituary

Christian, Jr., Norman Franklin

62 known as "Chris" or "CC", passed away at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio on 8/21/2025 after a brief illness. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on 4/22/1963. He is survived by his father, Norman F. Christian, Sr. ("Bud"), his sister, Cynthia Christian ("Cindy"), his daughters, Monica and Holly Christian, his daughter-in-law Lee Gillespie, and his best friend/son-in-spirit, Josh Masters. Chris Christian was a hardworking salesman and mechanic, as well as a daredevil who raced motorcross and rode Harleys. He enjoyed playing football in his youth and later, softball and volleyball as an adult. He loved AC/DC, Reese's Cups, Jack Daniels Whiskey, and falling asleep on the couch in the middle of a movie. CC worked hard, played harder, and loved the hardest. Please join us at his celebration of life on Friday, 9/12, from 5:30-8:30pm at the VFW Post 6560 on 5483 Wadsworth Rd., Dayton, OH, 45414. In Lieu of flowers, you can donate to the Detroit Mercy Veterans Law Clinic where his daughter, Holly, provides free legal services to low-income veterans with disabilities.
