Norman "Mike" Michael DeMoss

Mike DeMoss, age 69, of Mechanicsville, Va. passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 10, 1955, to the late Norman and Ruby DeMoss.

Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Mike worked in the heating and air industry for over 50 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy DeMoss; his children, Travis DeMoss and wife Kristina, and Tracie Palmer and husband Drew; and his cherished grandchildren, Reagan, Brycen, Beckett, and Taylor, who were the light of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Ruby DeMoss; his sisters, Sharon and Shirley; and his brothers, Paul and Kenneth. Norman is also survived by his sisters, Cheryl Lafferty and husband Evan, and Shelia Farmer.

Mike will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the deep love he held for his family. His legacy will live on in the lives of those who loved him most.

A Wake to honor Mike's life will be held at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., on Wednesday, September 10, from 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Bliley's, 8510 staples mill Rd., Thursday, September 11, at 1 p.m. with a Burial to follow at Hanover Memorial Park.
