Norman Dymarkowski Obituary
Norman E. Dymarkowski died on October 10, 2025, at the age of 91. He was born in Toledo on May 22, 1934, the son of Frank and Angeline Dymarkowski. Norm attended Nativity school, which was part of the former Nativity Parish. He graduated from Libbey High School in 1952. After being drafted into the U.S. Army, he spent almost two years stationed in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Norm had a career in banking, working for many years at Toledo Trust and Society Bank.
Throughout the years Norm was involved in numerous organizations, including the Knights of Columbus and the Loyal Order of Moose. He joked that the Moose he was affiliated with had no connection to Bullwinkle Moose, of Frostbite Falls. Norm enjoyed spending time with his family and made many wonderful memories at the annual family vacation in the Lake James area of northeast Indiana. He also enjoyed many trips with his wife, Charlotte, to Frankenmuth, Michigan. He and Charlotte celebrated their 56th Wedding Anniversary on September 13th of this year. Norm also enjoyed sports and was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Detroit Tigers, and attended many Toledo Goaldigger games in the 1980's.
Norm is survived by his wife, Charlotte; sons, Patrick and Brian; daughter, Ann (Tony) Garcia; and grandchildren, Alex Garcia, Lily Garcia and Penny Dymarkowski. A brief memorial service will be held at Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd, on Tuesday, October 14th, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., followed by graveside services at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation in his memory can be made to Eversight non-profit eye bank of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
