Norman Estroff Obituary

Norman Leslie Estroff, 92, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his side. Born on August 15, 1933, in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of William Estroff and Fayge Tesler Estroff.

Norman grew up in Soperton, Georgia, and graduated from Georgia Military Academy. He graduated with a business degree from Emory University in 1955. He immediately joined the Air Force, where he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. He was based at MacDill Air Force Base from 1955 through 1957, where he proudly served his country. After serving, he married the love of his life, Robyn Srochi Estroff, on October 20, 1957. They shared 53 beautiful years of marriage. Norman started an incredible business career working alongside his father at Sylvania Garment Company. After the business was sold to White Stag, Norman moved to Orlando, Florida, in 1962, where he once again worked alongside his parents in the operation of Beauticians Supply of Orlando, Inc. Norman grew the business into an incredibly successful large chain in Florida named Buy Wise Beauty Supply before he retired, selling the company to Sally Beauty Supply Company, based in Denton, Texas, in 1987. Norman was known for his incredible work ethic and the personal relationships he forged with his customers.

After retirement, Norman and his wife moved back to Atlanta in 1987 to be closer to their children. It was at this point that Norman volunteered his time to many charitable organizations and causes he believed in. In 1989, he began investing in commercial real estate and successfully built a shopping center development company alongside his son, Armand. Norman was very philanthropic and continuously gave back to charities, striving to leave the world in a better place than he found it.

Norman loved his family, always making them the center of everything he treasured most. He is survived by his daughter, Sara Cohen (Mark); his son, Armand Estroff; his grandchildren, Elyssa, Jacob, Eric, and Ashley; and his brother, Abram Estroff (Linda). He is preceded in death by his wife, Robyn Srochi Estroff; his parents, William Estroff and Fayge Tesler Estroff; his brother, Glenn Estroff; and his sister, Sarabel Stemer (Ross).

A funeral service will be held at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia, on December 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ahavath Achim Synagogue and the William Bremen Jewish Home.
