Norman L. Gessner Sr.

Norman L. Gessner Sr., 78, Sandusky, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, in Firelands Health.
He was born in Sandusky on June 13, 1947 to the late Vincent and Donna J. (Meinert) Gessner.
He married Rhea L. Koehler on June 13, 1996, the love of his life, whose birthday was on June 13, 1951, and she passed on April 6, 2022.
He was employed by Canfield-Hartley as a sanitary engineer from 1970 to 2009.
Norman loved his furry best friend Charlie, fishing, being at home with his family, sitting on the porch, watching the traffic, birds, and squirrels.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; grandparents, Fredrick and Catherine (Hacker) Gessner; son, Norman L. Gessner Jr.in 2022; brothers, Deon Gessner, Terry Gessner, and James Gessner; grandchildren, Tyler "Tbaby" Johnson and Priss Monk; god son, James J.P. Mischler.
