Norman Eric Larson (76), of Rosemount, Minnesota, passed away on January 22, 2025, surrounded by family.
Norm was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Evelyn and John Larson. He spent his early years in Cushing, Minnesota living on the family farm. His family later moved to Maplewood, Minnesota where he graduated from North Senior High School in North Saint Paul in 1966. Norm served his country in Vietnam with the U.S. Army. Afterwards, he graduated from the University of Minnesota and then enjoyed a fulfilling and distinguished career as a federal agent with the U.S. Department of Defense.
Norm married Barbara Albrecht in 1972. They enjoyed fifty-two years of marriage, raised four children, and were blessed with seven grandchildren. Norm had many hobbies, including tractors, trains, woodworking, and the outdoors.
Norm is preceded in death by his parents John and Evelyn and brother Harry.
Norm is survived by his wife Barb, sister Sharon, sons Michael (Karin) and John (Lindsey), daughters Amy (Jami) and Jamie (Tim), his seven grandchildren, and his dog Sam.
The family will hold a private internment ceremony at the Rosemount Lutheran Cemetery.
