Norman E. Lehman

Norman E. Lehman, 61, of Middlebury, (district: 57), died at 2:43 pm on Saturday, March 28, at Center for Hospice Care, Esther's House, Elkhart. He was born on April 11, 1964, in Goshen, to Elmer J. and Edna (Eash) Lehman. On November 25, 1986, in Shipshewana, he married Katie Lambright, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are six children, Merle (Delores) Lehman, Lavern (Regina) Lehman, Devon (Kristina) Lehman all of Middlebury, Marilyn (Kyle) Miller of Nappanee, Wilma (Curtis) Mullet of Middlebury, Wanda (Philip) Mullet of Bristol; 19 grandchildren; his father, Elmer J. Lehman of Shipshewana; four brothers, Calvin (Polly Anna) Lehman of Mio, MI, Herman (Viola) Lehman of Shipshewana, Ernest (Esther) Lehman of LaGrange, Vernon (Elma) Lehman of Millersburg; sister, Leanna (Wilbur) Kuhns of Bremen; brother-in-law, Lloyd Miller of Libby, MT. He was preceded in death by his mother; granddaughter, Katie Magdalene Miller; and a sister, Mary Etta Miller. Norman was the owner/operator of Dutch Country Market and a bishop in the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 29 and all-day Monday, March 30 at the Merle Lehman residence, 11401 CR 16, Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Tuesday, March 31 at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Phillip Schwartz and the home ministers. Burial will be in Naylor Cemetery, Shipshewana. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with arrangements.
