Michelle Jean Stutzman

Michelle Jean Stutzman, 48, of Shipshewana, died at 4:39 pm on Monday, March 23 at her residence. She was born on December 5, 1977, in Goshen, to Gerald and Esther (Byler) Stutzman. Survivors in addition to her parents of Shipshewana are a brother, Mike (Kris) Stutzman of Shipshewana and their children, Kimberly (Sam) Beiler and baby Samuel Beiler of Dublin, Ireland, Alex (Becca) Stutzman of Fountain Inn, SC, Andre Stutzman of Shipshewana, Katherine (Alex) Roth of Newnan, GA, and Emily Stutzman of Shipshewana. Michelle worked at Starcraft and at Midway Specialty Vehicles in Elkhart as the Sales Coordinator. After complications from surgery, she loved making many handwritten cards for veterans, nursing home residents, and school kids. She also enjoyed serving at the Christmas Bureau in LaGrange County. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the LaGrange County Clothes and Food Basket: 413 S. Railroad St., LaGrange, IN 46761. This was a cause Michelle supported and where she helped serve during the Christmas Bureau the last several years. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with arrangements.
