Norman Alexander Neace, 60, of Delaware, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Grady Memorial Hospital following a long battle with lung cancer.
Norman was born in Delaware, Ohio on December 5, 1964, to Walter Edward Neace Sr. and Lou Alice Neace.
Norman married the love of his life, Connie Lynn Neace in Sunbury, Ohio on March 23, 1991. Norman and Connie enjoyed 33 years of marriage together.
Norman worked soldering at Omega Engineering in Sunbury, Ohio. He had also worked for the Village of Sunbury, and the City of Delaware.
In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games, working on projects around the house, and playing and watching football, basketball, and bowling. Norman was a pretty skilled basketball player, having played for Big Walnut High School, the class of '83.
Norman was a very thoughtful and caring man; his proudest achievements were becoming both a father and grandfather. He had good reason to be proud too, because he was a great father and grandfather.
Norman's family loved him dearly, and he will be forever missed.
Norman Alexander Neace is survived by his wife Connie Neace; daughter Dominique Neace (Andrew Drotleff); son Patton Neace; sister Dixie Kean (Jeff); brother Walter Neace; nephews Christopher, Walter Alexander, William Tyler, and Wyatt; nieces Christal and Christina; and beloved grandchildren Espen Lindman and Eija Lindman.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will take place from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. with Funeral Services following at 1:00 P.M. at Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio 43015 on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Nephew Austin Beckett officiating.
