Norman Onishea was born February 15,1947. He passed away on October 4, 2025. He was a loving husband, dad, and grandfather. He loved sitting with his family, drinking a Coke and eating some fried chicken or fish. He loved the Saints, NASCAR, and WWE. Norman joined the Army right out of high school. After he left the army, he married his childhood sweetheart, Gloria Onishea, and worked at Custom Bilt Cabinets as a window department supervisor for 20+ years where he was loved by many. He loved to make everyone laugh and loved taking pictures of all the memories he had with his family. He was a very loved and will be missed by many people.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Jesse and Louise Onishea, brothers, James and Wayne Onishea, and brother-in-law, Wayne Thomasee.

Norman is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Onishea, daughter and son-in-law, Sissy and Michael Ashley, son, Dean Onishea, granddaughter, Kayla Onishea, sisters, Kathy Thomasee and Shirley Young, sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Ronnie French, brother, Herbert Onishea, grand-puppy, Bell "Bluebell", and many nieces and nephews.

His pallbearers will be Vince Irvin, Corey Smiley, Jordan Morrison, Jeff Statham, Dean Onishea, and Kenny Cash.

I worked with Norman at Kroehler Furn company for many years. I also worked with him at Custom Cabinet shop for 3 months. He was fun to work with. You will truly be missed.
