Norman Springer Obituary
September 7, 1933 - January 15, 2026
Norman L. Springer Sr., age 92, passed away peacefully at Fox Run Assisted Living Community on January 15, 2026.
He was born September 7, 1933, to the late George and Daisy (Mott) Springer in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Norman graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from AT&T. Norman was a longtime member of Valley View Baptist Church and currently a member of Southview Bible Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Springer; and brothers, Wayne Springer, Willis Springer, and Lynn Springer.
Norman is survived by his children, Deb Anderson (Larry) and Norm Springer, Jr. (Joyce); sisters-in-law, Beula Young and Sandy Taylor; brothers-in-law, Dick Richardson and Joe Richardson; seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., at Southview Bible Church, on Friday, January 23, 2026. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Southview Bible Church.

I lived on little Lori Lane where Norm Jr. lived on Lori Lane. Norm and I went grade school together. Washington, then Jr. high. This was years ago, but I remember Norm's family being stand up people. Very well liked. My thoughts are with you Norm. (and family).

Mr Springer used to come into Lynchs jewelry for his watch batteries and jewelry repair needs He was always very friendly I didn´t realize he was also related to Larry Anderson. I´m assuming the same Larry Anderson who farms from Treynor my condolences for the whole family may he rest in Jesus is eternal . peace and love may family be comforted during this difficult time respectfully Marti Lynch
