Norman "Chipper" Conrad Stevens, a lifelong resident of North Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, in Greensboro, at the age of 80. Born on April 7, 1945, in Randolph County, Chipper lived a life full of passion, dedication, and joy that inspired all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Chipper was a remarkable individual who channeled his enterprising spirit into owning and operating his own Body Shop Supply Company. He took immense pride in his business, which not only provided for his family but also served as a beacon of quality and integrity in the community. His commitment to excellence and his love for his work left a lasting mark on all who worked with him.
Aside from his professional pursuits, Chipper was a man of many interests. His adventurous spirit found expression in skydiving, a pursuit that epitomized his fearless approach to life. He was also an avid competition shooter and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, demonstrating both skill and discipline. When not engaged in these activities, Chipper enjoyed playing pool and billiards, and he never missed an opportunity to dance and spend time with friends and family. His laughter and warmth brought people together and created cherished memories for all.
Chipper was deeply involved in his community and held memberships with the Masons and the Shriners, organizations through which he demonstrated his commitment to service and brotherhood.
Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Garland and Sylvia Stevens, Chipper is survived by his cherished brother, Mickey Stevens, and his wife, Reesa, and his great-niece, Summer Stephens, who all held a special place in his heart. Chipper's legacy of kindness, courage, and camaraderie will endure through them and all who knew him.
