Nury Patino

Nury Patiño, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family that meant everything to her. Born in Colombia, she came to the United States 30 years ago with one purpose in her heart-to help her daughters raise their children and give the next generation the best start possible. She embraced her new life with determination, eventually becoming a proud U.S. citizen, an accomplishment that meant so much to her and to all who loved her.

Nury was the center of her home and the warm light of her family's everyday life. She was an incredible homemaker and an extraordinary cook, filling every gathering with the comfort of her food and her laughter. As a talented seamstress, she sewed clothes for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren-little dresses, shirts, special outfits-each one made from scratch, stitched with love, and treasured for years. Her home was the place where everyone felt safe, cared for, and genuinely welcomed.

The love Nury shared with her husband was something truly special. They built a life full of devotion and partnership, and even when her memory began to fade, she never forgot him. His presence always brought her calm, and he remained the one person she could always recognize. Their bond was a beautiful reminder of what lasting love looks like.

So much of Nury lives on through her family-their strength, their kindness, their traditions, and the way they care for one another. Nacida en Colombia, llegó a los Estados Unidos hace 30 años con un propósito en su corazón: ayudar a sus hijas a criar a sus hijos y darle a la próxima generación el mejor comienzo posible.
