Ronald "Ronnie" Earl Honeycutt, 81, of Mint Hill, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

Born on July 12, 1944, in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of the late William Reece Honeycutt and Loma Privette Honeycutt. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Shirley Ann Honeycutt, as well as his brothers Larry Honeycutt and Richard Honeycutt.

Ronnie worked for many years as a butcher with A&P Supermarket and Reid's Fine Foods, where he took great pride in his work.

Ronnie found joy and peace in working in his yard, his personal sanctuary. He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed playing golf, and a devoted Christian. For many years he was a faithful member of Morningstar Presbyterian Church, where he volunteered generously, assisting with lawn care and any other needs that arose. Ronnie was known for always going above and beyond, offering his time, effort, and kindness without hesitation.

His humble heart, generous spirit, and contagious smile reflected his deep love for God, family, and friends. He treasured the friendships he cultivated both within his neighborhood and his church community.

Ronnie was a loving husband, a proud father, and a devoted family man. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Hill (Randy), his son, Ron Honeycutt (Alison), his brother, James L. Honeycutt (Sally), his sister, Kay Adams, and sister in law, Nancy Stokes. He leaves behind loving grandchildren: Jay Breisacher (Miranda), Elizabeth Breisacher, Madelyn Breisacher, Jacob Honeycutt, Nicholas Honeycutt, Alexandra Honeycutt, Emily Boyd, and Christopher Boyd; as well as great-grandchildren Weston Breisacher, Savannah Breisacher, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Ronnie's life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Morningstar Presbyterian Church, 13000 Idlewild Rd., Matthews, NC 28105.
