Funeral services for Irene Daniels, 85, of Winnsboro will be held 2 pm Monday, June 23, 2025, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home with Rev. James Harris, Rev. Clay Nichols, and Rev. Scott Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in Harris Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 7 pm Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the funeral home. Irene was born March 3, 1940, in Bastrop to the union of the late Charles Obens Franks and the late Opal Gertrude Porter Franks, and passed from this life on June 21, 2025, in Wisner at Mary Anna Nursing Center. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Claude Daniels; her son Randy Daniels; and siblings: T. F. Franks, Mary Parks, Estelle Parks, and C.O. Franks, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Betty Reeves (Donnie), Glenda Daniels (Tommy), and Robert Daniels (Cheryl); siblings, Nora Jean Ogden and Ruby Franks; her grandchildren: Rita Evans, Susan Adams, Ramage Parker (Brittany), Amanda Parker, Amber Driggers (Bradley), William Daniels, and Lindsey Daniels; 13 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pallbearers will be Ramage Parker, Chaz Parker, Hunter Adams, David Carroll, Fred Berry, and Noah Cupp.Honorary pallbearers will Edward Cockrell, Larry Cockrell.
