Reevie, I just found out about Obie. I'm just beside myself. You raised such an amazing individual! I can't imagine what you are going through. I apologize for not being there for you when you needed it most! Please call me if you ever need to talk, my number has not changed.
I just adored Obie. My entire family did. Obie and I had just been talking about grabbing lunch, but it was postponed. I couldn't regret that more than I do now. Obie was the sweetest pseudo-son I could ever have. Such a beautiful soul. He will live on in my heart. What an incredible loss for you, your family, and everyone who knew him. My deepest sympathy and condolences to your sweet family.

I only knew Obbie briefly, but even in that short time, his presence left a mark. Watching him interact with others, the calm and kindness he carried was palpable his energy was warm and welcoming.
Though our words were few, his energy spoke volumes. The world has truly lost a gem, and I feel grateful to have witnessed even a small piece of his light. Rest in peace, Obbie.

I was lucky enough to work with Obie at Saint Luke's and his mother,Reevie, for years. His personality and smile was infectious. Obie a great nurse and I believe we graduated nursing school not far apart from each other. He was such a kind, social and loving person. Praying for his family for healing and comfort.
