Octavio Quezada Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Head Duarte Funeral Home - Levelland on Dec. 21, 2025.
Octavio Quezada, 79 years of age of Levelland passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Friday December 19th, 2025. For 62 years, Octavio and Victoria walked hand in hand through life, building a beautiful family of 5 generations grounded in love. He deeply loved his family and cherished every moment spent together. The argument as to who his favorite continues, but we all know who his real favorite is! The most important thing is he knew he was and forever will be our favorite. Octavio devoted a lifetime to raising his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and had a special soft spot for his great-great-grandchildren. His eyes would light up every time a new baby arrived. He especially enjoyed his time with Zaynen, together they managed to stay in trouble all day, completely wear everyone out, and then reward themselves with a well-earned nap side by side. Tavo was an avid golfer who enjoyed gambling, especially trips to Las Vegas with his friend, Nick. When he couldn't make it to Vegas, he was always up for a good game of cards out at Jesus's ranch. Usually getting in just a little bit of trouble when he got home, but he looked forward to it every week. Alongside his buddies David, Nick, and Phillip, he enjoyed many trips and unforgettable moments. The wives were always with them, mostly to make sure the fun didn't get too out of hand. Octavio was a devout Catholic whose faith guided his life, his values, and the love he shared with others. He proudly owned and operated Quezada's Masonry for over 62 years, building not only a successful business but a lasting legacy of hard work and dedication. Tavo was a devoted Texas Tech fan and now has the best seat in the house to watch them win the championship. He also had a love for music and found joy in playing the guitar. He made sure to eat a balanced diet of cookies and milk. When someone would bring cookies he really liked, he would hide them in his closet. Too bad we all knew his hiding spot.
