Our beloved Richard Quezada, age 67, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025. Born on August 15, 1958, to Jovita G. Quezada, Richard lived a life marked by love, laughter, and faith that guided him through every season.
A proud graduate of Roy Miller High School, Class of 1977, Richard carried a strong work ethic and a servant's heart wherever he went. He found joy in the simple things, BBQing with family, cheering on his Dallas Cowboys, working on his home and truck, and laughing and playing with his grandchildren. His greatest happiness came from being surrounded by the people he loved most.
Richard will be remembered for his warmth, humor, generosity, and his devotion to his family. He was the kind of man who would give without hesitation, lend a helping hand without being asked, and make everyone around him feel cared for and included. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose presence brought comfort and light to every room.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jovita G. Quezada, Manuela V. Garcia, and his brothers Eduardo and Johnny Quezada.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Quezada; his daughters Pricilla Quezada Olivo and husband Daniel Olivo, Bianca Quezada Martinez and husband Andy Martinez, and Ricki-Lyn Elizandra Quezada. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Leonardo Olivo, Leilah Olivo, Sophia Martinez, and Isaiah Martinez, who were the light of his life and the joy of his heart. He is also survived by his sister Maria Elena Flores, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
