Odis Allen Hash, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2025, at the age of 89. He was born on November 13, 1935, Odis spent his life dedicated to his family and community. He was known for his unwavering kindness, generosity, and the profound impact he had on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Family was at the center of Odis's life. He was born of Oran and Loraine Hash of Goshen, AR. Preceded in death by his parents and brother J.D. Hash. Odis leaves behind his devoted wife of 66 years, Rosemary Hash of Rogers, AR; their children, (3) sons; Brett Hash and his wife Melissa, Brian Hash and his wife Marsha, Robert Hash and his wife Pam. (1) daughter, Allison Bersi and her husband Bob. (9) grandchildren, (6) great-grandchildren, and (1) sister, Phyllis Turrentine of Fayetteville, AR. Odis instilled in his family the values of loving God, hard work, compassion, and integrity. He took great pride in serving others and was always there to provide guidance.
Odis loved the Lord, and was a Deacon at First Christian Church, Springdale, AR. As a Deacon, Odis served his congregation with love and devotion for many years. His commitment to helping others extended beyond the church, as he volunteered countless hours to local charities and organizations, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion and service. Odis was a man of many talents and passions. He was an avid fisherman, loved hunting, watching sports and birds on his back deck. Those that knew Odis and his brother J.D. always recall how great he was as a shortstop in fast-pitch baseball. He had a love for the St Louis Cardinals baseball team and even had the opportunity to play with their Farm Team. Odis Allen Hash was a man who truly embodied the spirit of a servant's heart. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to his family, community, and faith with unwavering kindness and generosity. In his final days, Odis was surrounded by the love and comfort of his family, who will continue to honor his memory by living their lives with the same love and dedication that he demonstrated.
Odis Allen Hash's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of Odis's life will be 2:0PM on February 26th, 2025 at the Chapel of Fellowship Bible Church 1051 W Pleasant Grove Road Rogers, AR 72758 under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale. The family requests that any donations be made in Odis's memory to the Circle of Life Earlene Howard Hospice Home 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
