Odren Virgil Eppard

Odren Virgil Eppard, 78, of Elkton, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 23, 1947 in Rockingham County and was the son of the late Virgil O. and Mary Margaret Harris Eppard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald (Jerry) Lee Eppard.
Odren was a humble and good man. He worked at Bond Lumber Company and Basic Whitz for a while. Odren loved sitting on the front porch watching traffic up and down the road. He loved the back yard and his recliner. Odren was a home body type of person. He is at peace now with his Lord now and family in heaven. Odren will be missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him. Love you Odren, your Reba.
Odren is survived by his sister, Reba Ann Breeden; whom he lived with for 18 years after the passing of his mother; brothers, Roy Edwin Eppard, Daryl Wayne Eppard and wife, Rhoda; sister-in-law, Karen Eppard; nephews, Chad Lee Breeden, Lee Eppard, Troy Eppard; niece, Jessi Eppard.
A Graveside Service will be conducted 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Elk Run Cemetery with Pastor B.J. Smith officiating.
