Ohoney Meria

Ohoney Meria, 12, of Amarillo passed from this world and awoke in the arms of the Savior on November 25, 2025.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur. The family will receive guests from 4 pm to 6 pm the same evening. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home’s Chapel of Angels on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 10 am with Pastor Lal Bawl presiding. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery.

Ohoney was born in Thailand on February 15, 2013, to Wah Per and Nah Peh. She relocated to the United States with her family in August of 2016, where she would be raised. She attended Bowie Middle School and was a member of the Bowie Choir. Ohoney loved to sing. She had a beautiful voice that captivated her audience even at such a young age. Her talents did not stop at her love for music and singing, however. Ohoney also had an artistic flare. She loved to draw and bring her animations to life with each stroke of her pencil.

Ohoney is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Saw Lawyer and Wee Ti. Those left to cherish her precious memory are her parents, Wah and Nah, sister, Eh Shee Gay Kpru Moo, brothers, Wah Eh Doh Moo and Andrew Wilson Moo, paternal grandparents Pah Nu and Mu Naw; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
