Ola Imogene Cox

Ola Imogene Cogdill Cox, 87, of Laurens and wife of the late Thomas L. "Buck" Cox, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at her home.

Born on December 7, 1938, in Laurens, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Nellie Bible Cogdill. Ola retired from Jostens and attended Saint James Methodist Church.

Her passion for arts and crafts was evident in the beautiful dolls she made. Her creations brought joy to many and will be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to receive them.

She is survived by a son, Glenn Cox; a grandchild, Allen Cox (Brailey); great grandchildren, Isaac and Daisy Cox; siblings, Ruth Cox, Trudy Wilson, and Emily Ann Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, David Michael Cox.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Ben Rumph. The family will receive friends at the mortuary immediately following the service.
