Mr. Hayes was united in holy Matrimony to Ms. Beatrice (Brown) Hayes on July 1st 1971.
Mr. Hayes (94) passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at his Home in Fayetteville, NC.
Mr. Hayes Loved fishing, he was adamant about his Lawn & Gardening being immaculate and He loved his wife (Beatrice) Home cook meals. He was always a true friend and devoted family man.
Mr. Hayes graduated from Heflin training school in Heflin, Alabama then pursued his Military Career in United States Army on June 14, 1968. He served his Country for 24 years as a Mess Sergeant Baker Pastry Chef (Cook) and Retired as a SFC (E-7) in 1992.
Mr. Hayes leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Beatrice Hayes; two Sisters, Bronzell Cooley & Lester (Marvin) Redford; two brother-in-law's, Claudie Brown and Leroy Brown both of Heflin, Alabama two sons, Billy Earl Hayes & Gregory Hayes of Columbus GA; two daughters, Rita Hayes of Eastampton, New Jersey & Carmen Jean Lawson of Columbus, Ga; (9) Grandchildren; (11) great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, Cousins, relatives and friends.

My deepest condolences to the family of Mr Hayes. My name is Willie Harris, and I am from Heflin Alabama, My brother grew up with Mr Hayes, and I grew up with Mr Hayes youngest brother, Lee Morris Hayes. I'm a Retired Soldier from Fort Bragg also. I have been looking for Mr Hayes for many years. I'm sorry I didn't get to see Him. My heart goes out to the family. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a Treasure. May God Rest His Soul
