Olen Shiflett Obituary
Olen was born Thursday, June 2, 1938, at Rich Mountain in Beverly, a son of the late Joseph Austin Howell and Anna Flora Shiflett. On August 8, 1968, he was married to Madeline Lucille Moritti Shiflett who preceded him in death on February 2, 2023.
Also, preceding Olen in death were three children, Connie, Delroy, and Michael, four siblings, Arnold Joe Shiflett, Kelly Shiflett, Rosa McCauley, and Joann Cummins along with several half brother and sisters.
Olen is survived by one son, Roland, one daughter, Carlene, one step daughter, Debbie, and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Olen lived the greater part of his life in Michigan where he enjoyed raising many farm animals. He loved hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his nephew, Ken Shiflett, great niece Kelly Shiflett, niece, Sarah Floyd, and his little fur baby, Smokey Joe.
Olen's request for cremation was honored with no services.
